Excuse me but I tend to get overly and unnecessarily emotional when I blog at strange hours of the night so do bear with me if goosebumps happen to form on you when you're reading this.

In less than 14 days, it'd be a night of Auld Lang Syne again. Did you know that it's actually "Old Long Since" in Scottish? Which means the good old days. I wonder how you people feel when you listen to this song on TV or on the streets on New Year's Eve. Would you start reflecting on deeds within the year? Or would you just live for the moment and listen to the song as just another song and then ciao... go home when everything ends?

However, in case I do not have the time to blog on the the eve (not that my life is that happening but just in case I'd be ushering in the New Year in unexpected ways..), I shall say a few words (ok, maybe more than a few words.. it's the time to be "lor sor" alright? Shush..).

1) To a good friend I've known since 9 years ago or 10 years ago actually if you count that actual year itself... Though we've hardly met up all these years and have been living very separate lives all these while, I hereby wish you all the very best for the new chapter of your life. Remember that if you need any help at all for your BIG day, don't hesitate to pop the question or request :D. Certain memories cannot simply be erased from one's mind though at times we wish we could, but new memories (even better ones..) can be created with someone else who deserves you and who loves you more.

2) To good friends who have always provided a listening ear and helped me in one way or the other. No help is too small :) Your thoughtfulness will always be very much appreciated. Some of you may still be unsure about certain paths that you have chosen to take but in time to come, may you be able to discover that your choices have led to to somewhere where you know you rightfully belong. Hope that you believe that just like the little girl on my blogskin, there would be an angel (though invisible to you) pointing to the direction that you ought to take.

3) To friends who are already happy and content with their lives... May you continue to live a happy and blessed life.

4) To strangers who happen to chance upon this blog. Perhaps it's fate that brought you here (ok, maybe it's not all that dramatic..) to read about similar problems faced by other people to let you know you are not alone. May you find peace, happiness and purpose in your life always.

OK! Time to go to sleep!!
