First and foremost, let me wish everyone a Happy New Year. May the year 2008 be filled with lots and lots of blessing and may your wishes come true!! Let this day be a time when you don't think about how many sms-es you have sent out, but just whack! Let all your loved ones and friends know that you remember them. Hey, an sms isn't alot to ask is it? When it comes to sending well wishes to loved ones whom you've not met for a long time ;P.

NTUC was so crowded just now in the afternoon. I supposed many people have taken leave today to usher in the New Year. I've chips and chocolate with me now since I'm not sure if I'll be going out yet later on. But very very hopefully, I would be able to cut down on junkfood consumption from tomorrow onwards :D.

I've been trying to finish up the movie, The Myth, online for the past few days. However, I'm always distracted by something else and would only end up watching part by part.

Found out today that a relative who's only in her thirties has been struck by throat cancer. She's a non-smoker by the way, which only goes to show that life really is unpredictable and even more so, unfair. Smokers take it for granted that they won't be part of the statistics but others who avoid such vice somehow are the ones who pay the price. Maybe through second-hand smoke? I don't know too. Found it quite strange that "throat cancer" has been mentioned to me twice by 2 different people in about 1 week. Such a queer and spooky coincidence..

Hopefully, there wouldn't be any relapse. Shall pray for a speedy recovery for her.

Ok, enough of saddening stuff. Let the New Year be one in which we can erase all unhappy memories and create more pleasant ones to be ingrained into our minds and hearts.

Cheers!
