Going to young couples' houses can be a very uplifting experience. Young couples here can mean those with young children too. Everytime I go to one, I yearn to have my own home. My own home to design. My own home to settle in and also my own home to have gatherings at. Isn't it a fun thought? Giving parties or potluck parties without having to feel like you're creating a mess for your parents or making them feel like extras? Young couples' homes feel good too because of the modern feel towards the designs and also they are more laid back and less calculative about throwing parties. At least for the ones I know lah har..

I'm a long way from that dream though.

Like I always say these days, reality sucks.

I'm falling back to earth and away from dreamland once again.

Now off I go to prepare some lemon cream for tomorrow's cake.
