I was just viewing a PPT presentation sent through email. It's actually a simple transformation of slides with photos of nature, from black and white to coloured. However, words alone can hardly describe the differences.

This made me wonder, if a person were to lose his/ her sight, it must be the worst handicap one could imagine. It's not just the ability to see but the ability to take in colours. Colours tell us alot. They bring live to objects, they give different feelings to people.

That said, black and white photos capture my attention more than the usual coloured ones because they tend to bring attention to the object of focus w/o any distraction contributed by colours. However, there always seem to be a sad feel to them, a sense of longing perhaps or just plain nostalgia...

A bit of exploration of the much talked about (these days..) place Haji Lane was carried out today. Actually it's not a very long stretch of road. Quaint and quirky shops can be found there. Filming was actually being carried out today. Fortunately didn't affect me. Much. The place is a breathe of fresh air for those who want something more than the nearby Bugis Junction or Bugis Village. If you are very into vintage clothes, that is the place to head to! But I don't suppose there are many people who can carry off the look of many of the clothes there. Bags and accessories are more acceptable by most, I should think... It's worth some time though if you happen to be in Bugis but the shops there probably close at 6.30pm just like the other shops at other streets like Arab Street. Who knows, you might be able to dig out a vintage piece that appeals to you :D

Hey! I just saw Kitaro on TV wearing a brightly coloured shirt coupled with black skinny jeans! So hip!! Maybe asked to look more cheerful since he's visiting Tan Tock Seng hospital ;P
