It was a beautiful wedding. Sweet and at certain moments, touching. I don't really know why a wedding could be touching. I think it's a only wedding at which I felt touched and yet, it wasn't exceptionally elaborate or over the top.

I supposed when a friend whom you were in school with some time back (felt just like yesterday..) got married, one would feel very connected too. Probably because of age and because of similar "schooling" backgound. Take for instance when parents watch their daughter getting married, they would inevitably think of the various stages in her life which finally led to the BIG day of her life. For friends, we got to know each other in our teens (theoretically speaking, we are still in our teens until 29 years old...) and moving on to adulthood through marriage just makes a whole lot of difference.

I actually saw Junliang at the ballroom. It was such a surprise until i found out from him that they were actually classmates in JC then it made a lot of sense. Somehow I keep forgetting that she's in the same JC because I actually got to know her personally when we got into SDE.

Nevertheless, it was a beautiful night and I'm sure for her, it would be the most unforgettable night in her life.

The food was great, which goes to show that you don't need to hold your wedding at a hotel to actually impress your relatives and friends. In fact, weddings shouldn't be about impressing those people because ultimately, it's a personal affair despite it being one that is attended by many.

The waitresses were all aunties. Although ours had a black face, she was kind of nice to me. For some reason, each time when she wanted to take the remainder of a dish away, she would ask me if we wanted somemore. And I had to speak on behalf of the rest. I think it could be due to the fact that the rest were ignoring her hahaha... She actually reminded me to take home the keychain souvenir on the table although others hadn't kept theirs too. I wonder if such souvenirs of weddings mean something? Any idea? I was telling Gom that perhaps by taking it home, we're bringing good love life luck to ourselves too. Makes sense right? Hahaha...
