I'll probably be watching The Leap Years this weekend. In fact, I've been waiting to watch this movie for some time already. They actually finished shooting this 1 or a couple of years back but only released it this year because of course, due to the fact that this is a leap year. If I remember correctly, the title of the book is known as A Leap of Fate.

I love that novella by Catherine Lim. I first came to know this story when I was in secondary school and Catherine, herself came to our school to talk about her experience as an author. Yes, we had such cool assemblies back then ;p She was an elegant and well-dressed woman back then even though this year she's already 60! When she came, she also told us about this story and I went on to read the book (great marketing idea of hers isn't it?). It's truly a beautiful story with an amazing storyline for die-hard romantics. It's of course not a realistic story so many (guys most probably) would perhaps brush off this story as crap. Hahah..

The review for the movie's not good though. It was said that the cast was very good-looking but they had no chemistry. One even went so far as to say the characters in the movie love only because the script said so.

Oh ya, and it doesn't hurt that Qi Yuwu's also playing a character in it though he's not the male lead. :D :D
