My very first CNY greeting card was from......*drumroll...*

A pupil whom I didn't even know. Hahah...

I was doing my duty yesterday before assembly when a girl came up to me to give me a card.

Me: "What's this?"
Her: "For you."

When I opened the card, it was to wish me a Happy Lunar New Year. I think she just prepared a few cards to randomly give away to teachers whom she met that day. Haha...

My 2nd card of the day was from my very own pupil! She made the card. Ok, I suspect she didn't make it herself because it's too beautiful and perfect plus the words didn't match her handwriting. But she drew me and herself in the card. Then today she gave me another card and it was wrapped with blank paper. Probably supposed to be a DIY envelope. This time round it's more child-like and she signed off by saying she loved me. So sweet.... :*D

I bought gummy worms for the kids yesterday evening and distributed today. Even though it's not a big packet for each of them, they were so happy. It made me happy too to see how delighted they were with the little gift from me. Kids...

I have pupils who are into "bribery". Haha... actually they are generous souls who like to give me things. A little girl who gave me stickers last year actually bought me a small sweet- looking notebook yesterday. I didn't want to accept it but well... "-_- She said she bought 1 for herself already.

There's this little discovery which I made during last week's art lesson on Friday. Since my dear girl was in hospital. I told the class that they could make her a card (using paper plates I gave them) to pass to her when she's back. A few boys wrote that they loved her. Hahaha... There's this quite cute and guai(1) boy who admitted to me that he loved her. When I asked him what sort of love was it, he only smiled shyly and said he didn't know. I couldn't help it but to probe further by asking him if he loved her as a friend or because she's a girl (meaning girlfriend/ boyfriend that kind...). He said he didn't know but continued to smile. Wahahaha...

Yesterday, he asked me if he could give her the card. I agreed that he should but he didn't dare to so I told him that I'd help him give it to her. He requested that I pass it to her only today. But the evil side of me pretended not to hear it and I gave the girl the card right away infront of him. Wahahaha... he must have been blushing like mad though I didn't take so much notice.

That was such a hilarious day. :D
