A friend recently mentioned very simply, "You should work to live and not live to work." In other words, one shouldn't end up being a slave to one's work. That's well said but of course, easier said than done. We are living in a time where we find ourselves driven by money and being slaves to work.

Once again I stayed back for the tuition programme. I really wonder why the teacher who signed up in the first place always cannot make it. Even my neighbouring teacher commented that it seemed to be a weekly thingie that I got to stay on for. Well, it's good money so I can't really complain about it haha...

However, I do feel really tired in the day. To the extent that I could get over emotional when pupils do not bother to listen when I explain to the class and I have to repeat to individuals again and again and again. It's really very trying and draining. Young children may think I'm overreacting but for me, it's an accumulation. I feel like a parent and a teacher all rolled into one for all 30 pupils.

Just a drop of blood and my lesson gets interrupted. I get interrupted.

Yet, work just keeps being added on for us. Admin, admin and more admin matters.

*sweat*
