Lugging a bagful of scripts, apart from my own bag, I was determined to drop by the shop, Phoon Huat, that sells baking ingredients of all kinds at Jurong. Somehow I've always wondered why they decided to use such an LC name for the shop but then, I guess it's the supplies they have that matters right? Hahah...
I want to bake something during this holidays. It's disappointing that the one week is almost burnt by last minute notification about a course, as well as props-making. However, it's important to do something I like once in a while before I grow mad. A couple of days back, I received a message from a parent in her daughter's diary. It wasn't put across very nicely and I don't know if she really meant it to be that way or not. Nonetheless, I have to admit that it irritated me. When I told mum about this, she exasperatedly said that parents these days seemed to be getting more and more bold. Questioning this and that. When we were younger (she meant bro and myself), they (my parents) weren't even like that. I've always wondered why they bother themselves with trivial matters instead of spending extra time on coaching? Perhaps one could say that I'm not a parent therefore I'm in no position to make judgments but come on lah, make sure you get your facts right before you write anything. If you don't even know what your offspring has been doing for more than ONE YEAR, then don't make a fool of yourself by bringing up a matter that only points to your ignorance of reality.
So many jokers in this world.
But then why aren't I laughing?Labels: Work
