It was a really exciting gathering which was initially filled with apprehension among us all but was later a relaxed one. She's still beautiful for her age (to me). I've always found her a bit ang moh. I still wonder if she's partly eurasian or something despite her Chinese surname but didn't ask her such a boliao question just now. She's warm and friendly, as if it was only recently that we just met. I'm glad that she's now a HOD. With all those years of hard work and dedication (29 years..), I can say that she deserves this although I have no idea when she was promoted haha...

I'm looking forward to the next gathering with her which if all goes well, will be a couple of months down the road at her house.

Provided it materializes. :P

So far my holidays have been spent quite productively. It's so fast that May is coming to an end! It's a pity because when June arrives, it will pass even more quickly. I'm done a major packing and tidying in my room. Unwanted clothes have been set aside for donation. Boxes have been bought for storing things neatly. It's better to buy one of those plastic transparent boxes than one of those carton boxes from Ikea. Although the former is more expensive. $14/ box from Ikea (can't remember how much the carton boxes cost me long ago...$5 for 2?), it's more lasting and you can wipe away any dust (or even splash with water) better. Better to invest in something for the long term, so bear in mind the next time you are shopping for storage boxes at Ikea :P

I've also found an affordable tailor at Tanjong Pagar Plaza. Can you believe the ridiculous difference in price? I was asking for a quotation from a tailor on the phone and she said $100-$150. Another said above $150. Daylight robbery!!!! Making gown meh?!?!?! At Tanjong Pagar Plaza, it's $38. "-_-

It's always wise to do some research before committing haha...
