After going out for the past 3 days, today's supposed to be a day of lazing around to relax and recharge. It's so sunny and glaring outside that I feel like going to bed once more to shut my eyes and shut the world out to indulge in more sleep. Got to go to Big Bookshop later to get little gifts for the 2 pupils who got best in progress for Maths and English. Something nice to encourage them to do better the next time round :).
There's something else I must do during the holidays. It's to try Lana's chocolate cake! Wanna see what's the hype about. There are mixed reviews online (though most of them about the chocolate cakes are good). There were people who felt that the cake did not justify the price and the attitude from the workers. There were also a few who mentioned that the standard had fallen over the years. However, many still raved about the yummy top-grade chocolate-y taste of the cakes :P. Seems to be $75 for 2kg according to someone. Don't know the price for 1kg though. Some of the stated prices were from a few years back and most like the prices have increased a lot over the years since the cakes are so popular.
I would also like to try Awfully Chocolate's chocolate cake (Katong Mall). They only sell 1 type of cake. What else but chocolate? ;D But $25.80 for 6" cake? Very ex leh! "-_- 6" is like the length of the normal plastic ruler. Which is not very big in diameter. It's actually opened by the local singer Stella Huang who has since disappeared from the local music scene. Maybe she's focusing on the Taiwan music industry.
Boo hoo hooo... I've been craving for chocolate cakes for the past 2 days. I can imagine the aroma and the melt-in-your-mouth fluffy and moist chocolate cake. The sweetness spreading slowly over your tongue.
