Over-usage of my lappy was probably the reason why the hard disk finally crashed. "-_- I was so lucky that I managed to save the compiled version of my partner's and my art lesson plan just before it finally crashed. It was just a matter of minutes man... Or else I would have lost the photos that I took so long to compile too.

Ever since I started working and had to bear all my expenses alone. I finally understand why parents always say that it's easy to spend but difficult to save money. Transport, food, hp bill, textbooks... all the costs for these were handled by parents when we were still studying. May not seem like alot to us then even when we were not working. However, ironically, once we start work proper, necessary expenses like these tend to eat into our earnings. Oh, and there's insurance to pay for every month too, which amounts to a few hundred. Transport cost more since we're paying adult fare and there's always increase in public transport fares too. When it comes to food, there's increase in price even at the once humble food courts. A meal can easily cost $4 there w/o a drink. Also, since we're constantly out because of long hours in school or at the office, the need to spend on more food is there, which equates to more money.

The hard disk cost me $150 plus another $10 to get an external storage system to transfer all my previous files and folders into it. A recent change of contact lens also cost me $150 but a pair can last a year. So imagine, if one were to have kids, the amount of money saved each month can easily be considered as negligible, considering that one would have to provide pocket money as well. @_@

Back to my revision again.

Looking forward to the end of my exams on Mon.
